As is often the case….this isn’t a real post.
We stayed up late last night watching The Walking Dead and then the two hour episode of Downton Abbey and STILL got up at 4:30 a.m. to do our workout.
The good news….we got up and did Chalean Extreme Push Workout #1.
The bad news….we were supposed to do Chalean Extreme Push Workout #2.
We’re so sleepy we didn’t realize we were doing the wrong one until halfway through it. Bygones.
Oh well, we still had a great workout.
I have a fair amount going on this week but hope to have a post up in a few days about a new fitness tool that Mr. Coffee bought me for Valentine’s Day. It’s the Omron HR-500U Continuous Strapless Heart Rate Monitor with Web Connectivity. I think I’m going to love it. My goal is to increase my workout intensity throughout the year and this tool will track my workout progress.
I plan to review it here in a few more days. I bought mine as a pre-order and the online dashboard for tracking workouts isn’t available yet. In the meantime, I’m going to wear it during my cardio activities to get a clear idea of how many calories I’m burning in relation to my heart rate. It uses an optical sensor to view the capillaries in my wrist. No annoying chest strap required!
