We started Week 3 of ChaLean Extreme Burn Phase today. Let me tell you, 4:30 a.m. comes around awfully early in the morning. It’s dark, the bed is warm, and Mr. Coffee is still a little bit under the weather. It would have been soooo easy to
throw my alarm clock across the room hit snooze.
The newness of the workout program has worn off.
It’s about the time of January where people start breaking their resolutions.
Still, we got up. Got out the weights. Turned on the DVD.
Shoulders, chest, squats, lunges, and pushups…..oh my.
Mr. Coffee went a little lighter today since he’s recuperating. I went heavier because I could….I’m getting stronger. Our goal…..get up and get it done.
We didn’t want to get up but we knew we’d be glad we did when it was over. We never regret working out.
Making the choice today not to fall into old bad habits gave me momentum to keep going.
